Working Principles: The DH60-7 Main Relief Valve operates based on the principle of pressure regulation. It is installed in parallel to the hydraulic system and diverts excess pressure when it exceeds the set limit. The valve consists of a spring-loaded poppet that is held against a seat by an adjustable spring. When the system pressure exceeds the set limit, the force exerted by the fluid overcomes the spring tension, lifting the poppet off the seat. As the poppet lifts, it creates an opening for the fluid to flow through, bypassing the main circuit and redirecting it back to the reservoir or to a secondary circuit. The fluid flow continues until the pressure drops below the set limit, allowing the spring to push the poppet back onto the seat, closing the valve and restoring normal system operation.
